Overview

The service, without the fluff.

What it is

Managed corporate event security: registration and accreditation control, delegate and visitor verification, exhibition stand and equipment protection, executive and speaker escort, controlled press and recording policy, evening reception and awards cover, and overnight build and de-rig security.

Who it's for

Corporate events teams, PR and experiential agencies, exhibition organisers, professional services firms, universities, hotels and conference venues running business events across Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, the South West and nationally.

When you need it

Single-day conferences, multi-day exhibitions and trade shows, AGMs and investor days, staff conferences and away days, awards dinners, Christmas parties, product launches and roadshows with multiple regional dates.

Why professional matters

Corporate events are judged in the first sixty seconds at the door, and they carry real exposure: uninvited attendees, protest activity, confidential content, expensive exhibition kit and a duty of care to every delegate in the room.

What happens if you leave it

The cost of the wrong provider, or none at all.

Risk

Uninvited attendees in the room

Without proper accreditation, competitors, press without permission, former employees and activists can walk straight into a keynote or an AGM.

Risk

First impressions ruined at registration

A slow, chaotic or aggressive door drags down delegate feedback scores no matter how good the content and catering are.

Risk

Confidential content leaking

Investor days, embargoed launches and internal strategy sessions need recording and device policy enforced calmly, not argued about mid-presentation.

Risk

Exhibition losses

Trade stands sit unattended overnight with demo units, laptops and samples on display. Build and de-rig are when they disappear.

Risk

Executive and speaker exposure

Senior leaders and external speakers expect competent, discreet handling from car to green room to stage. Getting it wrong is a call to the client you never want to make.

Risk

Compliance gaps

Venues and corporate clients increasingly require documented SIA licensing and liability cover. Booking uninsured freelancers can invalidate your event insurance.

Our process

A clear system, from first call to sign-off.

  1. Step 01

Brief & run of show review

We take your agenda, floor plan, delegate numbers, VIP list, sensitivities and any client-side security requirements before quoting.

  2. Step 02

    Written operational plan

Costed proposal covering officer numbers, supervisor, dress code, accreditation flow, radio plan, escalation and reporting.

  3. Step 03

    Pre-event coordination

We liaise with the venue, AV and production, registration provider, catering and any in-house security ahead of the day.

  4. Step 04

    Deploy & manage

Team on site early in the agreed dress code, SIA cards available, named supervisor as your single point of contact throughout.

  5. Step 05

    Debrief & report

Written post-event report the next working day covering access data, incidents, refusals and recommendations for the next event.

Benefits

What you actually get out of it.

A door that reflects the brand

Officers presented, briefed and spoken to a corporate standard, not a night-time economy one.

Accreditation that actually flows

Registration and zone control designed around your arrival curve, so keynotes start on time.

Confidentiality upheld

Recording, device and press policy enforced calmly and consistently for closed sessions.

Protected exhibition assets

Overnight and build cover so stands, demo kit and samples are still there in the morning.

One supervisor, one contact

Your events team briefs one accountable person, not a rotating cast of unfamiliar staff.

Documentation for the file

SIA licence details, liability certificates, risk controls and a written post-event report as standard.

The detail

Methods, variations and how we deploy.

A single page can't replace a walk-around and a written proposal, but this is what the work looks like in practice, so you know what you're comparing.

Registration, accreditation and zone control

The registration line is where corporate events most often fail. We plan lanes against your expected arrival curve rather than your total headcount, work from your delegate list in whatever format you use, and match badge to person without turning it into an airport experience. Where sponsors, press, speakers and VIPs hold different levels of access, we operate zone-level accreditation so hospitality, green rooms and closed sessions stay closed. Re-entry policy, cloakroom control and bag checks are agreed in writing before doors open so officers never improvise a rule in front of a delegate.

Exhibitions, trade shows and stand protection

Exhibitions run for days and are effectively open buildings full of valuable equipment. We cover build, live and break-down, control contractor and exhibitor access with accreditation, patrol halls overnight and manage the loading bay during set-up and de-rig, which is when the majority of exhibition losses occur. Where individual exhibitors want dedicated stand cover for high-value displays, we can provide named officers assigned to that stand alone.

Executive, speaker and VIP handling

Senior leaders, external keynote speakers and high-profile guests expect a calm, competent, unobtrusive experience. We provide meet-and-greet at the arrival point, escort through to green room and stage, and stage-side cover during the session, all briefed against the individual's agenda and any specific requests. Where a guest travels with their own protection team we integrate under their lead rather than duplicating it, which is usually the difference between a smooth arrival and an awkward one.

Confidential sessions, press and device policy

AGMs, investor days, internal strategy sessions and embargoed product launches carry information risk as well as physical risk. We enforce agreed recording, phone and device policy at the door and in the room, manage controlled press access against your approved list, and work comfortably alongside NDAs, in-house legal and PR teams. Where physical prototypes or embargoed goods are on display, officers double as static protection for the exhibit itself, including outside session hours.

Awards dinners, receptions and staff parties

Evening corporate events change character once the bar opens. Awards dinners, Christmas parties and staff celebrations need officers who can handle alcohol-related issues among colleagues with real discretion, because everybody in the room has to work together on Monday. We manage arrivals and re-entry, keep an eye on cloakrooms and unattended belongings, support the venue with dispersal and taxis at the end of the night, and escalate anything sensitive quietly to your nominated contact rather than to the room.

Documentation, compliance and short-notice cover

Corporate clients and venues want a paper trail. We supply SIA licence numbers in advance for vetting, public and employers' liability certificates for your compliance file, written risk controls, staffing schedules and a post-event report covering incidents, access data and refusals. Because we retain our own pool of licensed officers rather than buying headcount from agencies, we can commonly stand up a briefed, appropriately dressed team inside 24 hours when another provider drops out or delegate numbers jump late.

FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most.

Can your officers wear business dress instead of uniform?

+

Yes. For corporate audiences we routinely deploy in suit and tie or event-branded shirts, and we agree the dress code with you in writing before the event.

Do you handle delegate registration and accreditation?

+

Yes. We work from your delegate list in whatever format you use, verify badges, and operate zone-level accreditation so sponsor, press, speaker and VIP areas stay controlled.

Can you provide overnight cover for exhibitions?

+

Yes. Overnight hall patrols and build or de-rig cover are a standard part of our exhibition offering, and it is when most equipment losses would otherwise occur.

Do you cover corporate events outside Bristol?

+

Yes. We are Bristol-based and regularly work across Bath, Cardiff, the South West, South Wales, London and nationally, including multi-date roadshows. Travel is quoted transparently.

How quickly can you mobilise for a corporate event?

+

For last-minute cover we can commonly deploy a briefed team inside 24 hours. With more notice we walk the venue and produce a full written operational plan.

Are your officers SIA-licensed and DBS-checked?

+

Yes. Every officer holds a current SIA licence appropriate to the role, and enhanced DBS checks are available where the event or client requires them.

Can you work alongside our client's own security team?

+

Yes, and we do so regularly. We integrate with in-house and client-side security under an agreed command structure rather than working in parallel.

Do we get a report after the event?

+

Yes. A written post-event report is issued the next working day covering incidents, refusals, access data and practical recommendations for your next event.
